First half of 2025

Can’t believe it’s June already! Sometimes the days are slow… but then you blink and 5 months have passed. I want to share the highlights of my year so far, since I was reviewing my goals and (luckly) checking them off my list!

BA Certificate from the University of Toronto

I am kinda cheating on this one since I finished the classes in 2024. However, I got my certificate by mail early this year. Doing this class was very interesting and taught me a lot more about being a Business Analyst. One interesting fact is that a lot of the students did not really come from tech, which I find great, because then we can have a lot more to exchange from the different fields.

Tableau User Group Co-Leading, East Canada

This year the group is killing our objectives. We planned to have a lot more sessions than last year, and so far we managed to do one per month, which is amazing. I can see our community growing and I love that. Excited for what we can do next! Thanks to my co-lead Hedi, who is amazing and hardworking!

WTM Montreal event in April

This was UNREAL! I have been an organizer for WTM now for the second year in a row, and this year I took more responsibility for myself, being the main point of contact for all our awesome volunteers on the day of the event. We received over 300 attendees, had a new beautiful venue, and so many talented speakers. Seeing this event finally happen after months of planning is magical. For next year we want even more!

Personal highlights

My partner and I moved to our first ever house! It has been a great experience, with many house things to fix… but I am excited (and a bit scared) to work on our little decoration and  renovation projects.

Secondly, we just came back from vacation, and I fulfilled my dream to visit Japan! The trip was incredible: the food, views, people – stunning! This trip has re-ignited in me the will to keep pursuing the Japanese language.

Hopefully the rest of the year has even more excitement coming up 🙂
